Disneyland

The kids long awaited trip to Disneyland... finally happened last Friday. Jared had to be in Sacramento last Thurs... so we weren't able to leave until early Friday morning, we didn't hit much traffic and got there just before they opened at 8am! The biggest reason we finally decided to go this year is because we participated in the Give a Day Get a day that Disney resorts did this year... we helped clean a Christian school back in April and in return everyone 6 years old or older got tickets to Disneyland... all we had to pay for was Kaden, and of course Jace was free since he's only 2... so that was the biggest incentive to go... it was overcast all day... only sprinkled a little at 11pm, was a jacket wearing day... but added to the Holiday atmosphere!
We got to go on lot's of rides right at the beginning with little or no wait...
Jace running on the Tarzan Bridge while everyone was on Indiana Jones
Kaden was too scared of the bridge... they both really liked watching the ducks
Brianne, Kyler and I going on Indiana Jones

Pirates of the Caribbean
going on splash Mountain... (my favorite as a kid)

our one picture with a character... poor Jace was asleep though

Thunder Mountain Railroad...
Tea cups- Kaden just wanted out...

one of my favorite pictures...
"come on enough pictures already!!"
It's a small world

Jace was obsessed with the new Disney babies...
and of course he found a "big baby"
walking down Disney Main street on our way to lunch

ate lunch at the Rain Forrest cafe... we were disappointed, the food wasn't very good... should of just stayed and ate the Thunder Ranch BBQ... oh well

a stop into the Lego store... the boys (and Jared) were in heaven!

Kaden playing toy story memory match, to pass the time while the older kids and dad went on Space Mountain

waiting for the parade to start

On the buzz ride...

oh my silly Jace, showing off his shooting skills from the ride while holding his buzz baby

Jace with his baby buzz and sucker he got... we left for a bit, went and checked into our hotel, ate dinner... rested then went back...

just in time for the fireworks...
back of the castle
front
Brianne and Easton by it's a small world
Brianne and Easton wanted to go on the tea cups again...

Jace really thought he was steering this ride... so intense!!
Then a couple of the kids had been fighting... so we were going to leave, it was neally 11pm (closed at 12am) then this lady that works for disneyland heard us and came over and talked to the kids about how special disneyland is and is for families to enjoy being together, and not to fight and she took us to the front of 3 rides... so sweet of her...

at our hotel The Marriott Residence Inn... just too bad we didn't get to enjoy it longer... it was a penthouse suite, 2 rooms, a king bed, 2 queens, and a sofa sleeper, with a full kitchen and 2 bathrooms... was a quick trip, but nice and of course the kids had the time of their lives, and haven't stopped talking about it since!!

oh that makes me want to go to disneyland so bad! It looks so amazing during Christmas! What you get at the rainforest cafe are the lettuce wraps :) and I always stay in the residence in marriot when I go :) it's a pretty nice place. I love that the kids have their own room
