School started Aug 24th. Our school district is in a big financial crisis (as are most in California) so they eliminated bus transportation at our school as well as class size is larger among many other changes. Brianne and Easton are both in Combination classes this year. Kyler has 31 kids in his Kindergarten class... pretty insane, but the kids seem to be doing really well so far. Here they are on the 1st day of school.
for the 1st time, Jared just took the day off, which all the kids thought was pretty neat.
Brianne is in 4th grade with Mrs Lowell (3rd and 4th combo)

2nd day of school... wow I feel like I just might not go insane after all, it sure was a long summer...

Kyler is NOT in kindergarten?!! Where has the time gone!
How fun Jared was able to see them on their first day! Usually it's my Jared's first day too, so maybe one day.
I can't believe how crazy the financial crisis there has been and how it's affected the schools. Jared's kept in contact with a few people from East High and things are REALLY bad there. I can't help but wonder if maybe the Lord's timing in having us move didn't have a little something to do with that! :)
