Kaden has not looked forward to being 5 because then he has to go to school... (thought we got over that with him in a Pre-K program in June, but nope he insists he will not be going to school, and that he HATES it....yay) also he has never wanted to ride his bike, he decided last year that when he turned 5, then he would ride it. (the kid is so afraid of heights, and going fast) so a few days before his birthday I reminded him, wow on your birthday you will be able to ride your bike... to which he responded with a scowl on his face... no maybe when I'm.... 13! ha ha!
He still had a great 5th birthday...
Breakfast: he wanted peanut butter pancakes and cheesy eggs.
then he got to open 1 present
his bigfoot shirt from our vacation and a candy bar... he was as happy as could be!
When dad got home in the late afternoon, they went to Red Robin together and then Kaden got to open another present... Lego's... that dad helped him build!
Kaden had wanted a Bigfoot cake, but he had just picked out a Harry Potter Lego, with the gift card from Grandpa and Grandma Brown.... so settled for a lemon sponge cake (he was adamant about a Lemon cake) decorated with Harry Potter...
He loved his cake... and was so sweet to give me a big hug and thank you mama, for making it for him! He's a sweetie...
