oh I just had to get a picture of these cute little Easter baskets our home teacher Bro. Adams made for the kids, filled them with cookies and candy. So sweet and thoughtful of him (he is single, in his mid sixties)

Saturday, while Jared went to priesthood meeting the kids finally got to color eggs...

I think Kaden had the most patience with his eggs... dying them til they were nice and dark!

poor Jace just wanted to throw all the eggs, so finally had to lock him up in his high chair.
he liked the Easter duck that sings...

Then we had our hunt... (had to do it in the front yard since the kids remembered that Buster ate the eggs last year when we did it in the back yard)

Jace trying to eat his egg...

finally Easton finds his other egg...

Can I just say how nice it was to have Easter on Conference weekend... Jared didn't have to get up early to go to meetings... we all were hoping he would make his traditional conference omelets... so with a little begging...

everyone loved the omelets!

the kids and all their Easter loot!

was so nice listening to all the uplifting messages from the leaders of the church... and getting to spend the day together as a family... after conference we had our Easter dinner. (Kyler what are you doing?!)

We had a wonderful Easter! So grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and how through him we can become better and have peace in our lives, even when the world is in chaos!
