we couldn't believe how close Kolob Canyon is to I 15, we were so glad we went there. It is also known as upper Zions, far less people than Zion's and absolutely stunning.

it was really quite chilly at Cedar breaks and very windy... once again there were very few people there, it was nice visiting some neat and not so popular places this day.

Mammoth caves... this ended up being the boys favorite place we went to... an under ground lava tube... luckily there were some other people there that let us borrow their flashlights... Jared took the boys all the way through it, and up through a very tiny opening.

the kids could have stayed here for days, unfortunately we had to head on to our hotel
everyone was sooo dirty and dusty, and since we weren't at a Nat'l park, all the kids found a piece of lava rock they wanted to keep for a souvenir.
We stayed at Bryce Canyon, we decided to take the kids out to eat at a nice restaurant, I stuck to my diet and ordered a grilled vegetable platter... well instead they brought me a plate of raw vegetables with a bowl of ranch (gave that to the kids) but had to get a picture of my "dinner" that night... yum!
Then it was back to the hotel for some swimming... poor Jace was a bit burned

We sure had a busy fun day!
