Vacation Day 6- 4th of July celebration-parade-BBQ-games-fireworks

I was looking forward to going to the parade in Provo with my sister Brenda's family. We sat right on center street and University ave... we all ended up really disappointed with the complete disrespect we encountered there... (can't wait to go to Solvang next year) People kept walking on our blankets in front of us so they could cross the street during the parade... when just next to us was the cross walk... with a clear path. Then what really was incredibly rude, we were right in front of the area where they have booths for after the parade well the grass area by the Provo tabernacle was all set up with chairs for a concert, they cranked up their music so loud, you couldn't even hear the parade, like the marching bands, floats with speakers or singers... we were all just shocked at the disrespect and ended up leaving a little early.
All my boys, they are already hot and sad that there's no candy, ha ha!
gotta eat snacks at the parade...
the kids waiting for the parade to start
Scouts with flags, very patriotic!
one of the really neat floats...
I thought this float seemed really strange.... could see it coming, and couldn't figure out what it was, it honestly looked like a communist leader, finally when it was a block away, only because of the scouts below it, did I then know it was a scout...
Jared getting the kids cotton candy after the parade...
walking down center street
a sea life mural on one of the buildings on freedom Blvd
after the parade we drove up to the temple... thought this was a neat picture for the 4th of July
