July 4th- Blanding

Since my sister lives so close to the church, we got up early to go stake out a great spot under a nice big tree, by the church, to watch the parade.

nothing like small town parades... of course my kids favorite part was getting candy!!

Brianne Whining she doesn't have room to put all of her candy... (Cousin Katelynn right behind her)

everyone enjoying the parade and conversation.... (Well my boys don't look too excited in these pictures) There is the church I grew up going to, Built in 1920.
Brother in law John and sisters, Brenda (shes' holding her baby Zack) and Erica. in back is my mom (holding Erica's baby Deakyn) and dad, Jared and all my boys.
See if you can spot my kids... so excited to get drenched!!!

Later after relaxing on my sister Erica's lawn and visiting. We went to blue Mountain to our old reunion camping area... roasted hot dogs (gourmet chicken, spinach and cheese sausages for adults) and of course roasted marshmallows for smores.

Easton enjoying his smore, Kaden, Burdette carrying Peyton (Erica's husband and son) and Erica

a picture in front of Blue Mt. .... wait where did the Mt go?!! Well here's a pix of just the mt. wouldn't take one of the family and the mt together.... hmmm

That evening my Sister Erica (who is a beautician) cut my hair, I told her she could do anything she wanted to it.... so she did, she did a great job, Thanks so much Erica!
We got front row and I mean front row seats for the fireworks show that night, we sat in a field right in front of where they set off the fireworks, so other than a bit of a sore kinked neck from looking straight up at them.... it was a great fireworks show, as good as any we've seen!!
