What would Jared love for father's day?.... hmmm not too hard to figure out if you know Jared!!! (it was finally his first Saturday off since Feb, and the 1st time we could do something as a family since January!!) he took us to sequoia National park to hike to Tokopah falls. It was a nice hike... we wished we could have stayed longer and seen more but Jared had to be back for an Eagle Scout court of Honor. So after the hike we stop at Three Rivers and went to The Pizza factory. 
Jared actually had to carry Jace on his back and carry Kaden the entire way up and back (3 1/2 miles) Kaden for some reason was really scared being in the mountains. so Hikers passing by had plenty of comments looking at Jared hauling 2 kids... some of my favorite were, "you got room for one more?!"
a man carrying his baby in pack said, "wow, and I was complaining how much my back and shoulders hurt!"
Everyone had a good time at the falls and playing on the rocks.

Scout camp hikes are going to be nothing to your boys! Jared's started their training young.
